Hoffco's power earth augers were conceived right from the start for
medium and heavy duty earth drilling projects. From industrial to
commercial jobs, Hoffco's post hole diggers readily handle any drilling
task. Hoffco's earth augers are low maintenance and high quality pieces
of equipment. The transmission is made with hardened gears for longer
life. Our design utilizes a 3-1/2 inch centrifugal clutch delivering
more than enough torque to the earth drill. Plus grips for operator
comfort and control. Kill switch located at the operator's fingertips
for extra safety.

and are built tough to last and perform beyond your expectations.

One-Operator Earth Drill
The Hoffco PH980E is a one man auger powered by an 85 cc - 3 hp
American made Tecumseh® engine. It can accept earth drills from 2"
to 8" in diameter and each are 30" tall. There is an optional 18"
extension available. Great for building decks, installing fences or
digging mailbox holes.

cycle, 5 hp American made Tecumseh® engine. It can accept earth
drills from 2" to 12" in diameter and each are 30" tall. . There is an
optional 18" extension available. Great for planting large shrubs,
installing fences, building decks and digging mailbox holes.

| STD - For ordinary digging
and loose sandy soil. Thin cross section for best penetration. Wears
sharp.
HFC - Hardfaced, 1-side dirt tooth. For abrasive soil.
HFFC - Dirt tooth, hardfaced 2-sides. For long wear in extremely
abrasive soil.
Chisel STD - Chisel-point tooth. For digging, caliche, hardpan,
sandstone.
Chisel HFC - Chisel-point tooth, hardfaced for longer wear, abrasive
soil.
Carbide - Tungsten carbide tooth. Longest wear, for extremely hard,
abrasive soil, especially frozen ground.
Carbide Chisel - Tungsten carbide tooth. For extremely abrasive soil,
